West Sussex - The Trundle Walk

The Trundle is 206 metres high. It used to be the site of a chapel until this was left to ruin. It is thought that the chapel was built some time in the 15th century and was probably trashed in the Reformation. Today it holds mobile phone towers and provides great views. That is the Goodwood Raceway behind me. It is one of England’s most famous racecourses with a well known event in the horse racing calendar – Glorious Goodwood – held in July/August each year. The royal family often attend this meet.
